Welcome. Since our first Cursillo weekend in February 1987, we have organized 65 men's and women's weekends and more than 560 women and men have attended one of our Cursillo weekends. We currently have strong Cursillo communities in the West-Island of Montreal (Ste-Geneviève United Church, Roxboro United Church), the South Shore (Richelieu Valley United Church), Montreal (Trinity United Church), Laval (Northlea United Church), the Rawdon area (Mid-Laurentian United Church), and, in Ontario, in Cornwall (Knox-St.Paul's United Church) and Kemptville (St. John's United Church). We gather regularly for fellowship, singing and sharing of our faith at Ste-Geneviève United Church. Everybody is welcome at these gatherings, also called ultreyas. If you play an instrument, bring it along. For the schedule of the ultreyas and directions see below:
Cursillo road shows
About once every two months a group of cursillistas goes on the road and visits a church in either eastern Ontario or the greater Montreal area. After consultation with the minister of that church, we take part in the Sunday worship service with special music and a prayers for witness talk. Our last road show was: Sunday,
April 13, 2008, 11:00 a.m.
Trinity United Church, Water St., Chesterville, ON with Rev. Wendy Wright-MacKenzie Our next road show will be:
Sunday, October 5, 2008, 10:30 a.m.
Richelieu Valley United Church 250 Hertel St., Beloeil, QC with Rev. Pix Butt |
